Breaking news: Coach Sherrone Moore announce his resignation and departure from the team due to the…

I said recently that it’s fun having a head coach active on social media again and over the past week or so, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore has had a lot of good news to share.

Last week, the Wolverines landed three commitments in the 2025 class which included top-100 safety Kainoa Winston, as well as four-star DL Jaylen Williams and three-star running back Jasper Parker.

That was something to celebrate for Michigan football fans. Winston was the second top-100 commitment of the class and finally, things are starting to feel like Michigan again on the trail.

Michigan football the favorite to land elite QB Brady Hart

Then, on Monday, the Wolverines started trending with four-star quarterback Brady Hart in the 2026 class. Ohio State offered Hart on Monday and soon after, he started trending with expert projections to land with the Wolveriners and from all three recruiting networks.

EJ Holland of The Wolverine put in his projection for the On3 recruiting prediction machine along with Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong. Sam Webb and Steve Lorenz of The Michigan Insider logged crystal balls for U-M, while Tom Loy switched his pick from Clemson to Mchigan football too.

Kirk Campbell, the quarterbacks coach, tweeted #GoBlue Monday night, but on Tuesday morning, Sherrone Moore posted on X, just as he did before the commitments last week. He posted the eyes emoji and #BrickbyBrick26, the hashtag for the 2026 recruiting class.

All of that points to a Brady Hart commitment. I don’t know the timeline but when Moore posted stuff like this last week, the actual commitments came soon after, so maybe it will be today (Tuesday) or sometime this week, but I wouldn’t expect Michigan football fans to have to wait long for the commitment of Brady Hart.
