The 2024 NRL season is rolling along at a rapid pace, and a host of injuries to key players are rocking the competition.

Nathan Cleary and Tom Trbojevic have suffered hamstring injuries which have caused havoc for their sides and their state, while AJ Brimson is also facing a lengthy spell out.

Ryan Papenhuyzen and Cameron Murray have been sidelined for extended periods, while Cameron Munster has joined them in the casualty ward after limping off in Magic Round.

Tino Fa’asuamaleaui and Tom Gilbert have been ruled out for the season with ACL injuries, while Kalyn Ponga is due back later in the year after suffering a foot injury.

Ezra is a born-and-bred Bronco and it’s great that he is staying where he belongs,” Walters said. “He is an exciting player but he also likes to get in there and do the tough stuff and to do what needs to be done for his team. We have only scratched the surface on what Ez can do – we’ll keep on working with him to improve his game and I can’t wait to see what we can achieve together over the years ahead.”

The deal will see the 21-year-old’s salary triple as he was earning just $250,000 a year in his breakout 2023 season. Fresh off securing a new contract, Mam has urged his side to lock down club veteran Reynolds, who the explosive five-eighth sees as a crucial player in the club’s hunt for its first premiership since 2006. Reports suggest Reynolds is close to signing on the dotted line for another season but Mam hopes he can pen a deal for even longer.
