The Tennessee Vols could have a chance to break two of college football’s longest active streaks in 2024.

247Sports recently highlighted college football’s 10 longest active home winning streaks. And two of the teams with the longest home winning streaks are on the Vols’ schedule this fall.

The Oklahoma Sooners have won seven games in a row at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. Oklahoma’s last loss at home came against Baylor on November 5, 2022
Tennessee will travel to Oklahoma on September 21 for their first matchup against the Sooners since a 2015 meeting in Neyland Stadium. The Sooners will host three home games — against Temple, Houston, and Tulane — before playing the Vols on September 21, which means Oklahoma’s home winning streak should be at 10 games when Tennessee comes to Norman (barring an upset).

The Vols could also have a chance to end Georgia’s home winning streak, which is the longest in the nation (the Bulldogs have won 25 straight games at Sanford Sanford Stadium). Georgia hasn’t lost in Athens since 2019 when the Bulldogs lost to South Carolina (October 12, 2019).
