Denver Nuggets Reportedly Sign Talented Center, see who…

PJ Hall is coming off an excellent year for the Clemson Tigers.

The talented center finished his season with averages of 18.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.4 blocks per contest while shooting 48.8% from the field and 31.5% from the three-point range in 36 games.

Hall did not get selected in the 2024 NBA Draft, but Harrison Wind of DNVR Sports reported that he is signing a two-way deal with the Denver Nuggets.

Denver will walk away with the 6-foot-10 center from the University of Dayton who averaged 20.4 points per game for the Flyers this season as a junior.

“There was a lot of potential landmines between 22 and our pick,” Nuggets general manager Calvin Booth said. “Especially having a division rival in front of us that probably values the guy too, it was just important for us to get ahead and get our guy.”

Holmes was a four-star prospect out of high school and became the highest-ranked recruit to ever sign to Dayton.

The 2023 NBA champion Nuggets were eliminated in the second round of the 2024 playoffs by the Minnesota Timberwolves last month.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope declined his $15.4 million option, and General Manager Calvin Booth seemed to indicate he could be moving on.

DENVER — Denver Nuggets General Manager Calvin Booth hinted at the potential departure of a key member of the franchise’s only championship team on Thursday.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who also won a championship with the Los Angeles Lakers, declined his $15.4 million player option to become an unrestricted free agent, Shams Charnia with Stadium was the first to report.
