GOOD NEWS:Conor Gallagher drops clearest transfer hint yet amid ‘obvious’ next Chelsea manager choice

>

Chelsea will be forced into a number of huge decisions this summer ahead of the 2024/25 season. Conor Gallagher looks set to be at the centre of one of those with his future at Stamford Bridge even more uncertain following the departure of Mauricio Pochettino.
The former Blues boss was a huge fan of Gallagher and made it subtly obvious on many occasions he did not want the club to sell him despite the need to raise funds. As an academy graduate, any funds acquired from his exit would count as pure profit which is why Chelsea are still keen to sell despite his excellent season.

Like Pochettino, it is certainly possible the next manager will want to keep Gallagher but that looks unlikely to happen regardless of who comes in. Kieran McKenna and Enzo Maresca are two of the frontrunners although Chelsea are likely to face competition from Brighton and possibly Manchester United, depending on their Erik ten Hag decision
